Mitch Henderson's paintings are renowned for their command of

color and painterly brush work. From his roots in Pittsburgh PA ,he now calls Scottsdale Arizona his home. Mitch is committed to his art and puts in many 17 hour days of painting .He began painting animal portraits early in his career. Mitch's passion for painting now emerges in his acrylic landscapes and abstracts. Bold colors dance with loose brushstrokes inviting the heart and soul to enjoy.

He was PetSmart Charities 2008 artist for The "Just A Buck Change Their Luck" TM campaign. The painting "Bright Angels" was exclusively depicted on PetSmart merchandise to raise money for homeless animals, then sold in their stores and raising nearly 2 million dollars for this worth cause.

Gracie's World TM is a children's book that Mitch illustrated with a positive life message for kids. He is working with the Author Sharon Schmitz on the second book in the series which will be an E book and available as a hard copy also.
